You might be able to get this visa if you are travelling to Australia as a visitor, on a tour, for business visitor activities, or to visit family members, a visitor visa might be an option for you.
Business visitor activities may include attending a conference, negotiation or an exploratory business visit. Visitor visa holders cannot work for or provide services to a business or organization in Australia or sell goods or services to the public.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Genuinely intending to stay temporarily for the purpose for which the visa is granted;
- Having adequate funds to support yourself during the stay
- If applicants are sponsored under the Sponsored Family Stream, the sponsors must be a settled Australian citizen or permanent resident, and who is an adult close relative.
A sponsor is prohibited from sponsoring another person for 5 years if a person previously sponsored had breached a visa condition. A security, in terms of a bond lodgment, in some cases is required before the visa is granted.
The validity of a Visitor Visa might be up to three, six or 12 months with single or multiple entries. Parents of permanent residents or Australia citizens might be eligible to get long stay visitor visas with the validity up to three or five years.
